How ճdz™ Works

Endothermic volatilization of the tough, resilient ճdz™ coating takes place in an energy absorbing chemical reaction when heat reaches the temperature of sublimation.

Formation of heat-exchanging char coating on the surfaces of the subliming compound adds a highly efficient cellular insulation and a radiating shield to further delay heat penetration.

Sub-surface sublimation utilizes additional heat energy to drive the released gases through the char barrier until all of the protective coating has reacted.

As the sublimation continues, a protective char layer begins to form between the high heat, the flame source and the structural steel coated with ճdz™.

The formation of heat-exchanging char coating on the surfaces of the sublimating ճdz™ continues to function as a cellular insulation, and a radiating shield to further delay heat penetration.
